Wireless FM is primarily aimed at a mature audience, targeting the majority of our region’s population (50 years and older), as well as many visitors during the summer months. We broadcast to the popular vacation destinations of Mangawhai Heads, Langs Beach, Waipu Cove, Uretiti and Ruakaka.
We feature some of the best music ever made… songs that have endured through the decades…… fifties singers like Dean Martin, Frank Sinatra, Patti Page and Tony Bennett, along with the swinging sound of the sixties by the Beatles, Beach Boys, Elvis and more. Also ballads and favorite songs from the seventies by Elton John, Olivia Newton John, The Carpenters, Neil Diamond, and more, as well as the lighter sounds of the eighties and nineties. We also feature contemporary artists such as Michael Bublé, Hayley Westenra and Norah Jones….. a truly cruise mix for a refreshing change from other parts of the dial.
