I have been a part of Te Reo Irirangi o Ngati Raukawa since it’s humble beginnings in September 1990 and although we’ve had our fair share of challenges along the way it’s still great to be a part of an organisation that supports through broadcasting, the survival and retention of our Reo Rangatira.
In January this year I was honoured to take up the position of Station Manager after Emare Nikora (our previous Station Manager of 18 years), decided it was time for her to move aside. I therefore thank Emare and the Raukawa Fm Trustees for the opportunity and look forward to the challenges that come my way.
This year, under the umbrella of Raukawa Communications, Raukawa Fm have expanded to Raukawa TV Production and Broadcasting and I therefore look forward to the continued support of our Iwi and Community and extend an invitation to one and all to come and share your stories and ideas, so that we can broadcast what is unique within our community. |

Kia Ora My name is Tim Pita and I am married to my wife Bethany Pita.
We have two beautiful young girls named Xanthe who is six years old and Anais who is two and a half years old.
I am the host for Raukawa FM afternoon drive, called The Runway 2-6 show and known as Captain TP on that show, which starts at 2:00pm to 6:00pm Monday to Thursday each week.
I started in April 2008 and have never looked back, especially working with others on the team that contribute their own abilities and talents which in fact I really enjoy being a part off, and have helped me develop and improve my performance in broadcasting.

Kia ora. Ko Nancy taku ingoa. Maniapoto te iwi. Paretekawa te hapu. I am a wife, mother, grandmother and great- grandmother. I have been employed as receptionist at Te Reo Irirangi O Ngati Raukawa (Raukawa FM) for 3 months and enjoy being part of the team. I find the various positions required to keep the station functioning properly, really interesting. I enjoy a challenge and strive to do the best I can with what little knowledge I have. Good Management and a supportive united team make up the great working environment which I love being a part of. |

I joined Raukawa Fm in 2007 as the Programme Director for the Maori shows.
Although since then my role has expanded as a fill in announcer on both the Maori and English shows.
I have since learnt the motto around here is “It’s easy, you can do it kare!”

I have a huge following in country music and have been working in Radio Raukawa for over 10 years starting in the Rangatahi show as a temp.
